This unique group of musicians are a customer of mine for design and a favorite of mine just for listening. They study traditional music of our region and arrange and perform it in their own style, and a concert includes a fair amount of history along with the music, just the way I like my traditional music. This photo shoot was from spring 2009 when we were preparing to redesign their website and update promotional materials. The photos were shot at Andrew Carnegie Free Library's Music Hall, a perfect backdrop for them. I had organized my shot sequences into styles in which I captured each of them individually and at least once as a group, so that each of the poses with their instrument both full-length and half-length as does the group, each of them is playing isolated from the others and so on. You can see several of this images in action in their website, flyer and other materials in my design portfolio on the NewLanders page.
